Brian Metts
Savannah River Ecology Laboratory Brian is a Research Professional and Ph. D. student in Ecology at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of South Carolina-Aiken and his Masters degree from Clemson University. His Master’s research focused on the impacts of beaver impoundments on herpetofaunal communities. Brian is involved in a number of ongoing research projects at SREL including the long-running Rainbow Bay study and the effects of contaminants on amphibian and reptile populations. His doctoral research investigates maternal transfer effects of contaminants in amphibians. |
